SIAL Canada, formerly SIAL Montreal, was started in 2001 by three organizations, the ADAQ (Association des détaillants en alimentation du Québec), the Groupe Export agroalimentaire Québec-Canada, and the Société Comexposium. Sixteen years later, it is one of Canada’s top trade shows for innovation in the evolving food industry.

Recognized for its variety of activities, conferences, and workshops, SIAL Canada hosts over 900 national and international exhibitors, 60 countries, and 15,000 visitors from diverse backgrounds in retail, catering, and food processing. Innovation and inspiration are the focus of the show and exhibitors are expected to bring to the table the latest and greatest food products to hit the market.
